I hope you are having a wonderful day today..whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving here in America or in any other place you call home!
Somedays it seems easier to just complain about the little things that aren’t going my way like our basement not being finished, the endless piles of laundry, how much money is NOT in the bank account etc. When honestly, I have so much to be thankful for.
I am alive. I am healthy. I have a wonderful family with a husband who is patient and funny and full of love. We have two beautiful and healthy children who have clothes, food to eat and a warm (even though it is a little small) home. That is all we honestly need.
This day to me is not about being thankful for our luxuries…but more about being thankful that we have what we need. Our needs are being met when there are so many out there who cannot say the same. So today, I give thanks for having all that I need.
For the many blessings in my life…for all of our needs being taken care of…I am so endlessly thankful.
As the day comes to an end, and I give thanks…I know what gratitude really means in my life.
and my hope is that whether or not you are celebrating Thanksgiving today…that you will find reasons to be happy and thankful for all of the little things that make you smile each day!
I know I am!
