13 reasons why I cannot exercise today

13 reasons why I cannot exercise today:

1. The laundry is hanging on the treadmill and if I move it, I won’t be able to find it when I need to.

2. I need to shower and I can’t shower and THEN exercise because that wouldn’t make any sense. And I can’t exercise and THEN shower because I don’t have enough time.

3. I didn’t get enough sleep last night. Maybe tomorrow. For sure tomorrow! I prooooomise I will tomorrow!

4. It’s too cold, too rainy, too snowy, too hot, too sunny out to take a walk.

5. I can’t watch my yoga DVD because the kids are watching Spongebob. And while yoga is beneficial, Gary really does have some interesting points.

6. My sister called and needs me to help her. She isn’t sure where Starbucks is and since I know it is important to help others……

7.  Just showered yesterday, and if I work out today then I have to re-shower. Won’t work.

8. My ipod is dead.

9. “BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO – IS THAT OKAY? DO YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH THAT? *sniff, sniff* I am so sorry, I am just feeling so emotional right now” (i.e. It’s “that” time of the month).

10. I had an urgent email this morning that I had to attend to. And by urgent I mean that if i didn’t forward it to 7 people in seven minutes that I would have seven years without any alcoholic beverages. Sorry. I do have priorities.

11. My back hurts. Come to think of it, my feet ache, my neck has a kink, I think I am getting a migraine, I am feeling a cold coming on. I need to rest now so I can fight it off.

12. I am way too out of shape for that kind of physical activity.

13. I am too afraid of the kind of woman I may turn into……..
