Could M be the next Martha?

Could M be the next Martha?

I am so excited to share this with you all! M is just like me and very much into the “artsy fartsy” stuff and asked me yesterday if there were any crafts that she could do. I immediately thought of these really adorable pony-tail holders that I saw another child selling from a craft show that I recently went to. I just KNEW she would love them.

And does she ever.

Here is the very first one she made and I am soooo in love with this thing!

She was very proud of herself and it was just too cute since I do not think that she realized how 1. easy these would be to make and 2. that SHE could make something so neat! She proudly sported her creation this morning to wear for “sharing circle time” at school! She even added beads to this one to spell out her name :)

We got brainstorming and thought that not only would they make cutie-pie pony-tail holders…but that they would make special and wonderful gift bows too! Just think of the unique and gorgeous snowflakes they would make when hung from a window with some fishing line!

This little chick-let is a born sales woman. When I asked her to make me four of them to hang from our front window behind the Christmas tree…her reply was “only if you pay me one thousand dollars”. She must have known she was a tad out-of-line high on the pricing as she cut me a deal at four dollars instead. I am seeing entrepreneur here folks! Good, maybe she can support her dad and I one day when she makes widget-gidget gizmos and becomes the next Martha Stewart.

So let the pony-tail making bonanza begin! Bring on the ribbon…I have a retirement plan to consider!
