Okay – so far I have heard this Audi commercial described as offensive, terrible, un-green, idiotic and yet…hysterical?
I personally laughed my @ss off when I saw it. Whether it was offensive or not – did it work?
Is it drawing attention on living green?
Is it creating a buzz about eco-conscious living?
Are there a b@tt-load of bloggers and tweeters discussing this commercial and it’s underlying message?
Yup. Yup. And Yup.
So guess what folks? I kinda liked watching the guy get ripped out of his hot tub in his underwear, and the cute little green police shorts they’re all sporting in, and seriously? “Green has never felt so right” – makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
What about you? Did you like it? Do you hate me now because I liked it? Let me know – the more hype on this ad – the further down the “green brick road” we go!

Oh, I thought it was a funny commercial. You have to be able to laugh at anything, in my opinion. My family has lived with autism and brain tumors and if we didn’t find a way to laugh we would have gone crazy by now. Sure, I personally take being green pretty seriously, but I can certainly see the humor in this commercial.

I cannot believe anyone is giving Audi flak for this ad. To me, any awareness raised is good awareness, better than none! yes I laughed. And it gave Cheap Trick a chance to pull and oldie but a goodie out of the closet and put it to good use. Thumbs up!

I absolutely loved this commercial! And I agree that anything that brings attention to our current situation on planet earth is good. If we all thought like the Green Police, we’d clean up this world in no time!!

Having an Audi….not the one shown in the commercial (boo)….personally, we liked the commercial.
My boys love all Audi commercials….but, this one was a fun one to watch.

Not so lucky when you it time to fix something…..pretty pricey….usually, the parts are special order and come from Germany. Its been a great car, so can’t complain.
