What It Does:
Kick start the morning by getting your facial on and buzzin’ from bees to warm caffeine! An awesome mask for replenishing sun damaged summer skin and adding a little zing to your day.
Learn more about scientific research on coffee benefits and the use of coffee as a powerful antioxidant in summer skin care.
I make this mask with rhassoul clay, an exotic Moroccan clay that reduces dryness, flakiness and improves clarity and elasticity in the skin. However, rhassoul can be tough to find at your local health market. Kaolin is a great, mild, fine grained substitute that purifies the complexion and helps rid the skin of sunscreen residue. Aloe is widely known as a super replenishing ingredient for sun-exposed skin. Green tea is full of antioxidants andpolyphenols that help heal the skin.

You could also use the coarser ground coffee, honey and EVOO as a cellulite treatment for the thighs!
Really? How cool! I am not familiar with EVOO…have you tried this? And it really helps! That’s exciting since it is almost bathing suit wearing time
Thanks! They don’t call you Lotion QUEEN for nothing do they! LOL
Love it!!!
Where do you find the clay around here???
a) EVOO is just olive oil. lol
b) It was just on Dr. Oz last week. (Is that cheating?) I haven’t tried it yet, cuz there’s no way, no how I’m exposing my thighs. EVER!
The queen rings true! Coffee has been proven in clinical studies to have great smoothing effects on cellulite, which (I have noticed) creep on out in your mid 30s
I wouldn’t know that first hand or anything though…
I could really use this right now because I’m working outside all day! All that sun has to be killing my skin…
Oh wow – I bet! That sounds nice though to be working outside
Gardening? Flowers? Lawn? Have fun!
nice article! I need to do something bout my legs…
