Oh my gosh – I have not wanted to lick a wall since watching Willy Wonka when I was eight. All I can say is that after I tried YummyEarth organic candy – I would absolutely be tempted to lick their wall, their floor and their fixtures – if they are anything like Mr Wonka’s place. I would not be able to control myself if I were to visit their candy making palace as I envision it smelling of pomegranate pucker and tickled pink grapefruit – I pucker just thinking about the sweet natural goodness.
No really, I didn’t even get through the first paragraph of this review without tearing into my last (sniff-sniff) bag of organic gummy bears. I know what you must be thinking…”she said her last bag” and yes I meant every letter in that very serious three letter word. Mine, Hands-Off, Don’t Touch, Off-Limits, For Mommy Only. Paws off my bears!

“My friend Sergio was feeding rice pudding to my 15-month old, Jonah, and we imagined that soon he’d begin asking for candy. We dreamt aloud of inventing an organic lollipop that tasted so good our children would ask for it instead of ‘chemical candy’- with all that artificial garbage. We spent months developing a recipe and perfecting the production process; two years later YummyEarth candies are selling out in thousands of stores nationwide and in 20 countries. Apparently, a few other parents also feel the same way!”
YummyEarth has succeeded! After only two short years and 20 countries later – their “wow” factor is seen and enjoyed by children and adults alike! Their goal is “The Best Taste on Earth” and I will tell you what – they really are Yummy!! I love that they really care about every single ingredient that goes into each piece of candy and ultimately into our children. They are just as disgusted with the chemical crap as I am – and many of you are as well. They are “everyday dads” trying to make a difference in the way that foods and treats are perceived and consumed with the hope of keeping kids healthier while still being able to enjoy a sweet little treat on occasion.
Another thing that made me smile when I read about their company is that they take pride in the fact that their candy is very food allergy friendly. We know how hard it has been in our family to find replacements for special treats and fortuntely we do have some tucked neatly in our back pocket for all occasions! Unfortunately these could not be enjoyed by our E even though they are free of so many allergens – he happens to be allergic to sunflower! I know, poop! That’s okay though, I am happy they work for so many other food allergic kiddos out there who deserve a special treat too 
M and I made sure they tasted good – not to worry!
I am so happy to have found out about YummyEarth – especially right before Halloween! I may stock up on some bags of these to have our M “trade-in” at the end of the evening of trick or treating. We don’t typically stay home and pass out candy because our kids would FREAK if they couldn’t go out in costume…but for those of you who pass candy out – great option here!
