BBB Seed is a small, family-owned company based in Boulder, Colorado that specializes in the distribution of wildflower seeds, heirloom and organic vegetable seeds and native grasses. They are a wonderfully friendly, knowledgeable and fun-loving group of greenies and I love their seeds!
I was so excited when we “met” via twitter and were able to really connect about gardening, flowers and all the fun stuff that go with growing little seedlings! The awesome peeps at bbbseed were gracious enough to send our family an incredibly diverse bundle of organic and heirloom seeds for our planting in our backyard garden and we were thrilled!
The kiddos and I set out on our seed adventure by purchasing small biodegradable pots from our local gardening center and we began the plantings earlier this spring right smack dab in the middle of our family room. It was an awesome project for our kids to take part in and everyday they looked so forward to watering their “babies” and tkaing care of them. It was pure bliss when they began to grow and we could see the transformation of life right before our eyes!
It didn’t take long for them to become amazing and with each day, we were amazed at how we were actually quite capable of growing our own foods – foods that we just knew were going to be yummy and healthy right in our own garden out back. Purchasing seeds from bbbseed gave me the assurance I needed in knowing that we would be much safer and healthier because they are NOT chemically altered, genetically engineered nor are they crazy expensive! I definitely encourage you to look into this company and their HUGE selection of seeds ranging from vegetables, to wildflowers and even grasses!
